The acquisition aims to strengthen DERTOUR Group’s digital and technological development. Further content expansion is planned.
Subject to the antitrust clearance by the relevant competition authorities, the DERTOUR Group is acquiring the technology company Anixe, headquartered in Wroclaw (Poland), from the Munich-based FTI Group. With Anixe, a leading technology provider in the travel sector, the DERTOUR Group further expands its technological and digital expertise, laying the foundation for future content enhancements in the booking and distribution systems. The company’s employees will be retained.
Anixe specialises in technological distribution solutions for the travel industry, including the development of Software as a Service (SaaS) products for airlines, tour operators, OTAs, and travel agencies, as well as related customer support and consultancy services. With this acquisition, the DERTOUR Group is making strategic investments in its digital & technology expansion.
“We are excited to expand our IT expertise with this move. The Anixe team, which specialises in digital distribution solutions, perfectly complements our expertise and we are looking forward to jointly further developing our technology in support of our distribution partners,” explains Joao Gonzaga, Chief Digital and Information Officer at the DERTOUR Group.
